Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the MizuFlow mobile application and related services (“MizuFlow,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use MizuFlow.
1. What MizuFlow does
MizuFlow is a personal finance app that lets you securely link your financial accounts (through our partner Plaid) to view balances, transactions, net worth, spending insights, and recurring subscriptions in one place. MizuFlow is read-only and does not move, transfer, or hold money.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use MizuFlow. You are responsible for providing accurate account information and for keeping your login credentials secure.
3. Your account and security
You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. We require two-factor authentication to help protect it. Notify us promptly at hellomizuflow@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Connecting financial accounts
When you link an institution, you authorize Plaid and MizuFlow to access the account data described in our Privacy Policy. Your bank credentials are entered directly with Plaid; we never see or store them. Your use of Plaid is also subject to Plaid’s end-user terms and privacy policy.
5. Subscriptions and billing
MizuFlow offers paid subscription plans with a limited free trial. Paid plans are billed through your Apple App Store account on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) until cancelled. Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device’s App Store settings. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; refund requests are handled by Apple.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to access it in an unauthorized way, interfere with its operation, reverse-engineer it, or use it to violate any law. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
7. Data accuracy and financial decisions
MizuFlow displays information provided by your financial institutions through Plaid. We do not guarantee that this data is always complete, accurate, or up to date. MizuFlow is for informational purposes only and is not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on the app.
8. Disclaimers
MizuFlow is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MizuFlow and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue arising from your use of the service.
10. Termination
You may stop using MizuFlow and delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or terminate the service or your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the app.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms; we’ll post the new version here and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
